Apollo scowled. "Unbelievably, I have other responsibilities besides kicking your ass in court."
Klavier chuckled, taking it lightheartedly. "I'll be the first to remind you this was your idea, Liebling," he remarked, leaning down to look him in the eye. Summary
Trucy’s eyes grew wide at seeing the rose in his hands. “Whoa, Polly! How’d you get that?” she asked, reaching for it. Instinctively, before he could think better of it, he drew it closer to his chest. She raised an eyebrow, more intrigued now.
“Prosecutor Gavin gave it to me, the bastard,” he grumbled. “Can you believe it? He gave me one of the roses I got him.”
She blinked once, then twice, then three times. Then, she gasped loud enough to put his Chords of Steel to shame. She pointed at the rose, then at the stadium looming behind them, then at him. “Oh my God!” she said a moment later when she recovered her voice. Apollo stared at her, dumbfounded. That was not the reaction he was expecting.For Klapollo Week's Day 2 prompt, flowers: Apollo gives Klavier a bouquet of roses after a concert, but unexpectedly gets one rose back.

“I discharged myself. I can do this alone,” he said, looking off toward the wall and pulling the jacket over his shoulders closer to himself. Klavier’s shoulders sagged. It didn’t sound like Apollo was talking to him anymore. How many times had he told himself that trying to convince himself it was the truth?
The prosecutor switched his position to sit on his heels. The man’s eyes were still fixed on the wall, and his hands had a death grip on the lapels of the jacket. “Apollo Justice,” he said. He turned to face Klavier. God, how much sadness could fit in those brown eyes? “I know you can, liebling, but you don’t have to.”For Klapollo Week's Day 3 prompt, protection: Klavier helps Apollo tend to his injuries after the courtroom bombing.

Summary
When he closes his eyes to take a grounding breath, Mr. Wright is gone. Apollo’s peeking out from Klavier’s kitchen and watching him as he paces the length of his couch, looking over a file. He looks up at Apollo, and the glint of glasses that shouldn’t be there shocks him into opening his eyes again. Mr. Wright is back and he looks… more startled.

"You look like a corpse, Prosecutor Gavin!"
"That's uncalled for," he pouted, rubbing his temples. He started stuffing the folder with the papers more aggressively without rhyme or reason as to their order.
"Wait, no, stop," Apollo said, placing a hand above his to still his movements. "What the hell's wrong with you?"
The prosecutor avoided his gaze. “Nothing’s wrong!” His bracelet immediately tightened on his wrist. “I’m fine, Herr Forehead.” It tightened again. “Nothing for you to worry about.” It tightened further still, to the point that it hurt. One more lie and he might start to bleed.
He gripped his hand. He forced his eyes to meet his, then said, slowly and sternly, “Stop lying to me.”
For Klapollo Week's Day 6 prompt, sleep: Apollo realizes Klavier hasn't been sleeping since the Misham trial so he decides to take matters into his own hands.
