there are books surrounding her, all opened to a certain page. he sees pen, pencil, and paper behind her; sketches and notes. her hair is long, braided neatly; her skin is sun-kissed, darkened by the sun shining upon her; and she's wearing this yellow dress with a brown corset and brown boots meant for walking stony dirt paths— it's impractical, he thinks, mind blank. who wears a dress in the middle of a forest?
"oh, wow," she blithely says, "and you must think toga's are all the rage, don't you?"
