Summary
There’s a young man whose hands seem shaky as he aims a shotgun into the infected’s face and watches as the effect of a point-blank shot from the weapon causes the head to explode. The skin bursts, there’s one last screech from it’s blood-laced lips, then it’s blood splatters fly everywhere and finds itself decorating the child’s skin with small red droplets across his cheeks.
When Ace turns around to face his little brother after the chaos settles, his grip on his pistol tightens and his eyes go frighteningly wide. Luffy’s eyes are just as wide, except his lip is ripping from it’s tight biting and his left hand is clasped over his bloodied right shoulder so damned tightly.
“Ace—” his voice is so watery, eyes growing wet with a saddening realization.
“Luffy, god no, Luffy!”
Of all the things to happen to his brother, he gets fucking bit.
