Summary
“i’m supposed to believe that you’re a pediatric resident moonlighting as an undergraduate statistics student, spending your little free time attending my lectures for, what, fun?” sakusa asks. “lies should at least be believable.”
atsumu’s nose wrinkles. “omi-kun, yer kinda rude. i’m not moonlightin’. i‘m learnin’.”

Summary
atsumu fell asleep during sex.
it’s not a big deal. sakusa doesn’t take it personally; it would be easy to, but he’s confident in himself and their relationship, understands that after the string of shifts atsumu’s had, he’s absolutely exhausted. he’s so tired that it doesn’t matter that they haven’t seen each other in almost a week; he’s literally saving lives at work (children’s lives, as atsumu would be sure to specify) and it’s extremely taxing, both mentally and physically.
so atsumu fell asleep during sex.
sakusa’s not taking it personally.

Summary
atsumu is especially susceptible to tachycardia because he drinks coffee, exercises, panics, has a very hot boyfriend, and even though he’s good at cooking, he sometimes doesn’t notice his towels catching fire because suna’s sent him an excellently curated collection of memes.
today, though, his heart rate’s through the roof because sakusa is five seconds away from shoving him into a dishwasher.

Summary
sakusa isn’t sure what exactly he’s buying from osamu: it’s either his silence about his intent to propose to atsumu, his blessing to actually propose, or his approval to stay in their lives forever. whatever it is, though, it costs him three high-end dinners, putting up an onigiri miya flyer in the statistic building's staff room, and a box of ten thousand yen strawberries.
sakusa's not sure what atsumu’s going to be madder about: that he’s buying ten thousand yen fruits again or that he’s only worth one box.

Summary
atsumu still remembers it, the promise that was made while nestled in sakusa’s arms, pattering rain and a droning drama filling their living room. they were tucked away on the innermost corner of the couch, their limbs a tangled mess beneath atsumu’s favorite throw. sakusa’s voice was low, soft but confident as he murmured into atsumu’s hair, assuring, “we won’t be like them,” while the bride-to-be shook two nearly identical napkins in her betrothed’s disinterested and disbelieving face. “we won’t be one of those couples who argue over napkin colors.”
instead, sakusa and atsumu argue over napkin rings.
