Summary
"Wow Troy and Abed meant it when they said they were going to do the protective big brothers thing," Jeff chuckles as he sees the fifth text light up his phone when they pull in out the front of Annie's building. Annie giggles.
"All these men in my life trying to protect me," She sighs wistfully. "You'd think I couldn't handle myself," She rolls her eyes. Jeff squeezes her knee.
"I'm very aware you can handle yourself, I do the protective thing for my own sanity," He promises.A series of scenarios in which Jeff looks after/is protective of/possessive of Annie. I basically had a whole heap of ideas and figured they could all go together. This can either be read as a series of one shots, or as a continuing fic - I've put them all in correct order if you want to read it like that, but they can be read stand alone as well.
Some of the chapters are darker/sadder than others, I will put warnings in the chapters summaries beforehand as a warning.

“I am not a teenager,” Annie yells, silencing everyone. “And Jeff is not the monster that you all make him out to be,” She adds, just as loudly. “He’s a good guy, and we’re taking this seriously, we’re not just-” She cuts herself off, deciding it might be best to not confirm that they’ve slept together. “Making out against his car when we feel like it,” She finishes, making Shirley and Britta raise their eyebrows.
A series of moments between Jeff and Annie where it's Annie's turn to be protective or possessive.
This is the sequel to Basics in Protection - you will need to have read Basics in Protection for context for these chapters, so please go read that first if you haven't already :)
