The woman spoke to ask the first question, but he didn't hear her. So she tried again, "Can you tell us what motivated you to kill these innocent people? It doesn't seem like you had much of a motive, since none of the people you killed seem to be related to your family or company in anyway."
They wanted the whole story. From the very beginning. He nodded, "Alright, I'll tell you. But," he lowered his voice, glancing around before continuing, "you can't tell anybody." He shook his head slowly, "It's a secret."
The man and woman shared a glance and a look Gabriel couldn't decifer. "Alright," the man said, "that's a deal."
Gabriel nodded, then started to recall how it all started, "Do you know what the worst feeling is? Seeing your worst nightmare become true, right before your eyes..."

Summary
He had remembered when she’d come back to him, confused on why he kept calling her Marinette. She’d wanted to defeat him, he’d wanted her miraculous. It hadn’t ended well.
He’d remembered his hands being red instead of white. What had happened? When had he gotten so out of control? He’d stared at his lady’s body in front of him, her suit a dark, deep red instead of brightly colored like it used to be. If she’d just given him her miraculous it wouldn’t have come to that. He wouldn’t have had to do that. He wouldn’t have had to kill her.
But it was fine, he’d thought then, he’d fix everything. He had her miraculous and his, so he just had to make the wish and everything would turn back to normal. It would be as if nothing had happened at all. He’d thought that maybe he’d get lucky, and maybe he’d forget about it all. That hadn’t happened.

Adrien watched as the boy walked to Marinette, brandishing a red rose. Marinette looked surprised as he said something to her, and shyly took the rose. She didn’t push him away by the nose as he got closer, she didn’t roll her eyes and smile fondly, no, Marinette let him take her hand in his and place a kiss on it, the girl turning bright red at the action. Adrien glared. Marinette was his lady and his princess. That was the way it was meant to be.

Adrien noticed Felix running his hands through his usually tidy hair. The boy looked distraught, talking to Marinette’s friends and pacing back and forth. Adrien ignored him as soon as Nino walked up to him.
“Hey, dude,” Nino said, turning to Adrien, “have you heard anything from Marinette? Alya, the girls, and myself haven’t heard anything from her.”
Adrien shook his head. “No, I haven’t,” he lied through his teeth. He made sure to look concerned and confused like everyone else. Nino nodded, convinced. It was a good thing Adrien was a good liar.
