Summary
Ranboo reaches up to his black horn and pulls off his ring, holding out the small piece of obsidian in his white hand for both of them to look at in moonlight. “You remember what these say, right?”
(It had taken them a long time to settle on a phrase to engrave into their rings. Immediately they agreed it would be in Ender– partly because it looks awesome, partly because it’s exclusive to them, and partly because it’s a unique way to honor Ranboo’s culture.
Above all, they needed rings that would last. Just as there are good things in their future, there are very bad things in store for them too. Tubbo is on his final life, and they’re both disliked by some powerful people– if anything happens to them, they need something that cannot be destroyed. The best way to immortalize what they have was through obsidian rings.)
“For better or for worse,” Tubbo recalls the day they got married with a smile. “It says that on mine, too.”

With their foreheads pressed together, Tubbo promises to fall into this routine again and again and again; as many times as it takes for it to come back to Ranboo.

Summary
With a nudge of his elbow, he snickers and says, “You know I’m rich, so- we could always just get married. It’ll help with your taxes.”
It had entered Ranboo’s mind and left Ranboo’s lips as a joke. Tubbo loves to tease him for being so rich, but he never means it seriously. This is part of that, right? Something that… isn’t serious?
