What happens in an alternate version of Hirogen hell, and the aftermath.

Notes:

The first story was written specifically as an entry in the 3rd annual Voyager Blue Alert NC17 fanfiction contest, (2001), put on by a group of J/C writers. The premise was suggested to me by a fellow writer, but I had reservations about the ramifications of certain decisions. I took it in the direction I felt it would go.
With its original, unrevised J/C adult content it received an Honorable Mention / New Stories category.
Of course, the story needed a sequel, to address the aftermath => second story in the series, here. This second story as originally written did not do what I had wanted it to do, because I wanted to give the C/P fandom I was involved with at the time what I thought they were asking for. :) Which never works out well in the long term. So, Rules of the Game was reworked and most of it rewritten in August 2021.
