Summary
For as long as he can remember, Buck has been wanting.

Flashes of this: blueberry pancakes, smoke, sweat, three truths to build himself on, greasy burgers, video games, doughnuts, sweet and light perfume, a loving hand running through a mess of curls, colored pencils, bad calls, good calls, broken glass, a bag of sweet bread, and a whole lot of therapy—a love story, somehow.Series

Summary
Eddie is not a proud man, but he has the things he’s proud of. He’s proud to be a father, he’s proud to be a first responder, a military man. He’s proud to be organized, self-assured, self-disciplined, and self-aware, and that is precisely how he knows the exact moment he tripped into love for Evan Buckley. He could describe it down to what shoes he was wearing, what the weather was like, it was so ingrained into his person at this point.
But there was so much more, with that exact moment. So much he couldn’t put it into words even as Buck had—frosting, extra and sweet.
Nonetheless, Eddie starts from the beginning.
