Summary
When pushed to answer the question of his own favorite time period, Satan begins to remember his time in London during Queen Victoria's reign. The industrial movement, the propriety, and in the Autumn of 1888, the horror of Jack the Ripper and an incredibly obnoxious wannabe reporter who dragged him from one side of the city to the other.
"She was a reporter, an intellectual, and nuisance to the general public,” Satan said. A wry smile graced his pretty features.
