Summary
Himiko had never been particularly welcome in her own house.
Not since her quirk manifested. Not since the first time her mother caught her teething on a dead bird.
She couldn’t help it! It looked so cute, bathed in blood…
So she gritted her teeth and started playing the greatest game of pretend.
It hurt. Smiling, laughing, trying to ignore the siren’s song of the blood, pulsing so close underneath the skin of every single person she met-
It hurt, but at least it made her family happy.
Though, really, the twins were a little too young to really have an opinion either way.
“O-nee-chan, O-nee-chan!” Ochako-chan yelled as she ran towards the porch where Himiko sat, trying and failing to focus on her homework. Middle school’s material was way harder than she had been expecting. “Come look at what we’ve found!”

Summary
The truth was, her parents were never going to accept her.
Himiko knew that.
Even if their idea of “therapy” actually worked, the were never going to love her the way they did before her quirk came in.
She already almost came to terms with it.
It still hurt when Saito and Ochako were being dotted on while she was constantly being overlooked, even when she tried her best.
But then… Then Ochako’s quirk came in and Saito’s didn’t, and Himiko changed her mind.
She didn’t care what her mother and father thought about her, anymore. Really, she didn’t. As long as they still loved Saito, they could hate her all they wanted.

Summary
Saito looked so small, lying in the hospital bed. He was bandaged so heavily, and hooked up to so many machines on top of that, it was hard to see any of his skin.
The incessant beeping would have been annoying if it wasn’t the only indication of him being still alive.
He’s been in here for a month now, and still, he hadn’t woken up.
Himiko didn’t know what the doctors were saying - she hadn’t been home ever since she was caught drinking Saito’s blood - but what she could understand from the file hung at the foot of his bed didn’t look promising.
She was going to make them pay.
Everyone who ever hurt Saito before. Himiko was going to make them all pay.
