Summary
Dave is sitting on the flight from D.C. to San Francisco, somehow both restless and tired to the bone. He has no idea how long he has been awake; the bus trips and airport transfers have messed with his sense of time. But Dave is sure it's got to have been about forty-eight hours at this point. He wants nothing more than to fall asleep, but somehow he can't seem to do it.
Klaus finished his tour two months ago, leaving Dave alone in Vietnam. Now, Dave is on his way home to Klaus, and he is ready to start his new life with him.
