Summary
Maybe things happen for a reason. Maybe things were meant to go the way they did so Eren could have the life he cherished now. Either way, what's done is done and he had to live with his decisions and the consequences of those decisions.
Thinking about these things will always force the memories forward in Eren’s head. He can’t help it and really, despite the ache that floods through his chest at these memories, he still welcomes them with open arms, because at the time, they had made him happy...so very happy.
Eren looks back on his high school days and relives the happy memories he had with Levi before life happened and they went their separate ways.

Summary
Sequel to 'Where We Started'
It's been seven years since Levi broke Eren's heart by up and leaving him behind for school with no explanation. A lot of resentment has built within Eren over the years but he still can't seem to truly hate Levi for what he did, quite the opposite actually. Levi is now returning to their home town for good after he graduated Vet school and a lot has changed in both men's lives. Both still harbour feelings for one another and Levi in particular is hell bent on making up for his past mistakes with Eren but is it too late? Not to mention Eren has his daughter Isabel to consider now too. Will Eren forgive Levi and allow them both another chance at happiness? Or is the saying 'Time heals all wounds' actually just bullshit?
