Jamal peeks down the stairs to see a party of men entering his home.Shit. He goes back to his room into the bathroom dragging his desk chair with him. It bumps the desk knocking over a pencil holder sending it across the wood floor.
“He’s upstairs!!” Someone yells. No. No. NO!
Jamal locks himself in his bathroom and props the chair against the door handle. Seconds later he hears a bang against the door. Jamal spins around towards the sink and looks at himself in the mirror. Sweaty, disheveled with a bloody nose and tears in his eyes. This is it, he’s a rat in a cage now.
