  Summary

Baji says a lot of things before he dies, chief among them being, "Please save him for me."

Chifuyu looks at the boy who landed Baji in his arms, pale and bleeding out, and thinks that he doesn't have the faintest goddamn clue what the hell he's going to do now.

(Or, in a world where Baji is just a bit more selfish and Takemichi is, as always, Takemichi, Kazutora doesn't go to jail and the remainders of Baji's legacy are left to deal with it.)
