Summary
Zack and Aerith have escaped Shinra, but getting out of Midgar won't be so easy. Yet with their friends at their sides, they're ready to defy even fate itself.
Zack cheers, slinging an arm over Cloud's shoulders and waving towards his flower girl. "We broke Aerith out of Shinra's lab, and she asked that we take you with us." He rubs the back of his neck. "Sorry about the whole kidnapping thing, but you're probably better off with us than Shinra."
"W-wait," Cloud startles like a chocobo who was pet the wrong way, "You left Shinra?"
Zack's smile gains a nervous edge. "Uh, yeah!"
