Summary
Hawks was minding his own, surfing through his twitter feed, half listening to the gaggle of teenagers around him and Endeavor attempt to draw his unwilling son into a pitiful conversation. He was in the process of commenting on a post when a body slams into his legs from behind, little fingers curl tightly in his feathers, and he nearly drops his phone.
“Uncle Kei!”
Uncle Kei? He wasn’t an Uncle—Wait—No—“Roro?” Turning quickly, hissing at the feathers that are torn from his wing as he spins around, staring down into young hazel eyes, a little girl and a little boy holding onto his legs for dear life. “Roro? Lala?”
“Uncle Kei!” Lala tugs on his jacket. “They took Rody! You have to save him!”

Summary
In the back of his mind is a number, a number he’d been forced to memorize by his mother before her untimely disappearance, a cousin she had said, a cousin who’d help if they ever called asking for it. He lived in Japan, he was a hero (Rody wasn’t too fond of that idea but still—), she said his name was Keigo. Takami Keigo (he thought it weird that they referred to themselves with their surname first but who’s he to judge what’s weird and what’s not) and she was his cousin, he’d help, they only had to call.
The teen never considered it, never ever, up until the point he heard them talking about separating him from his brother and sister, that’s when he jumped up from his seat, startling Pino on his shoulder, and raps his knuckles against the bars of his cell. “I get a phone call, don’t I?”

Summary
Carrying a seven and three year old while half asleep from jetlag yourself is no easy task, but Rody manages, lugging his brother and sister forward in his arms with their shared backpack over his shoulders, stepping out of the busy Fukuoka International Airport and into the deep night time city. He doesn’t read Japanese very well, he can speak it just fine, thanks to mom, Roro and Lala are still learning, so finding his way around a city he’s never been to and trying to find his Uncle’s apartment that he’s never personally seen is going to be an experience.

Summary
“Rody Soul.”
It’s not the familiarity of the voice that stops him short, bounding just over the edge of the roof leaving Deku on the street below, Pino garbles on his shoulder fearfully. It’s not the angry gold eyes that bear into him, the hands on the hips, the disapproval shining down at him, that stops him in his tracks.
It’s the tone.
And it’s not the tone of the voice that makes him stop short, nor the blonde man who uses it, it’s the knowledge of what follows that stops him short.

Summary
Rody knew it was time to leave when dad came home without mom, something shining in the older man’s eyes, a light that didn’t mean anything good, a light that was dangerous, like a match before it lit an explosion. He knew it was time to go when that match was lit and dad started talking about some man named Flect Turn.

Summary
“Deku! Deku come in!” Hawks is creating quite the scene now that the fighting has abruptly stopped after witnessing the murder of their leader on live television at the hands of a teenager coming to save his younger brother and sister, shouting into his comm built into his headphones, surfing through his phone’s contacts frantically. “Deku I swear to fucking god! I’m entrusting my nephews and niece to you! If they’re not in the same condition they are now, or better, preferably better, when I get there, I’ll personally see to it that you never get the chance to become an actual hero!” His phone is not working fast enough. “Goddammit! Does anyone here have a teleportation quirk! I need to get to Otheon! I need to get there yesterday!”
