Letting the League's current favorite Wing Spiker crash on his couch - begrudgingly - was not supposed to lead to anything else. Not figuring out there is more to Hinata Shouyou than that grin and wink. Definitely not figuring out that he is just as accomplished OUT of uniform as he is IN uniform. And It really wasn't explained to Suna Rintarou that once they had worked off some of their snark in bed - he wasn't really going to want the redhead to leave.
Crashing on Suna Rintarou's couch was a means to an end. He wasn't supposed to end up almost liking the guy. He really wasn't planning on falling into bed with him after a good night out for drinks and food. And Hinata Shouyou really hadn't planned on doing it again. And again...and at this point why even bother counting? None of that had been planned.
Neither had the conversation that had led them both down a rabbit hole of kink exploration, the worst kept secret relationship known to god and man, a betting pool run by the last person either of them would expect and realizing that the 'secret' part of the relationship really wasn't working for them anymore.
