The path teems with delicate flowers, leading up to a warm glowing house surrounded by tall pines. The wind whistles again, pushing Sam one, two, three steps before both feet are on a neat cobblestone path that leads up the small cabin. The clouds rumble out another threat. Sam glances at the house, sees no shadow between the curtains, and slowly opens the door.

Clouds congregate around the moon, setting up for a blizzard. The thin curtains swish this way and that. The cool air of winter chills his room, snowflakes already making their way inside with the push of The Wind.
Sam shivers, moving to shut the large window when he sees him. A figure on the balcony in dingy clothes, obviously ripped from the steep climb up. The scent hits him before anything else.
