  Jotaro hadn’t realized, at the time. What it did to him. What it would do to him. He had been naive, thinking he could put all that behind him. Move on.

  He supposes he did, eventually. Had to. Life wasn’t going to wait for him, and before he knew it he was back to some kind of… bullshit routine, day in, day out. Egypt felt like a dream, another life, from the moment he got off that plane. Then there was Jolyne, and... it was as if it had never happened.
