If you want to read a good non-fiction book about the mafia, try one of Robert Saviano's books, especially Gomorrah: A Personal Journey into the Violent International Empire of Naples' Organized Crime System.

 

As for the fandom details - This story is in fact as much original story as it is Hetalia Fanfiction. Most of the cast are my human OCs but as most important mafioso of their country, you will find at least one canon Hetalia character play a major role in each book.
