So you’ve read Shadows in the Night, but you’re interested in more content? Welcome to the ‘special features’ of the DVD, if Shadows were a movie and it had a DVD with an extended cut—director’s cut, if you will. (Remember DVDs?) Or, maybe more accurately, a sequel that was conceptualized but never committed to.
Here you’ll find a number of scenes that all take place after the 39th chapter of Shadows. It does not necessarily follow the epilogue because these scenes could’ve been part of the epilogue, but these scenes are not important to the overall conclusion of the story. They only serve to provide insight into the complicated “happily ever after” of Shadows’ main characters. If you were interested in having that insight in the first place.
The scenes also do not follow a timeline within themselves; they’re disjointed by nature.
