Dean Winchester is 21 and lives together with his brother and his dad in America. Castiel's parents are divorced and just like most of his siblings, as well as his father and his new wife, he lives in Europe. A year ago, Castiel visited his mother and his younger brother Gabriel in America, which is when he met Dean and they started to have an open relationship.
When Castiel by serendipity gets two tickets for an open-air rock festival in America Dean was very eager to attend but couldn't get tickets for, Dean makes use of his father's absence and goes on a little festival-vacation with Castiel.
