Summary
So here he is, healing in the sun. There’s an intriguing patch of freckles forming on his right shoulder that’ll probably start looking like the Greek Cyclades if he spends much more time outside. Wilbur likes the idea of being a human map, of star charts spanning his skin. He’d like to think he’s a man of the world, but he’d also like to be a part of the world, just another animal in the weeds.
—
Wilbur Soot, twenty-one, on being a Renaissance man in love.
