A familiar “woosh”-sound somewhere below his dangling legs catches his attention and a second later Bokuto pulls himself up on the rooftop with ease after jumping up approximately ten meters from one of the balconies. “Come here, let me see it.” No kiss, no hug, not even a hello, but that's fine. Hello is not the top priority right now. Sometimes there's just no time for hellos.
Kuroo winces when Bokuto cleans his wound, because holy shit, that burns even more, and watches a he wraps a bandage around it. “Thanks bro.”“Don't call me bro. This is not a bro moment. You almost died!”

“Bokuto Koutarou, don't you fuck with me, what the crap-”
“Tetsu, Tetsu, sh, language.” Bokuto smiles sheepishly and lifts one hand defensively, the other one caresses the monster's ears. They're huge. Twice as big as Bokuto's hands. “I can explain. Okay, uhm, Tetsu, meet Gordon. Gordon, meet Kuroo Tetsurou, my boyfriend.”
Kuroo's heart nearly stops when 'Gordon' lifts its head and sits up. It's tall enough for its ears to reach the ceiling and its teeth are way too sharp to belong to a vegetarian. And Bokuto touches its messy black fur like this is a goddamn puppy and not some huge ass beast with alarmingly long claws which will probably slaughter them in their sleep.
