   Summary

   this is a canon-divergent AU (with many Patch 6.0 Endwalker spoilers!) wherein the moon is not run by Hydaelyn's loporrits, but actual Ancients who Hydaelyn saved from being sundered during the original Final Days. Bestways Burrow is replaced by The Last Hope, with these Ancients (and some familiars) running everything.

   Themis/Hythlodaeus is endgame for this series, but oh lord is it ever slowburn
