Summary
It wasn’t strange to think that she felt the need to take a moment to ready herself, but he did not expect to see her striding towards them clad in steel and leather, a sword on her back almost as long as he is tall.
...
Her piercing blue eyes find the Exarch and he steps back, startled at the intensity there.
“What?” She asks, and this time there is an undercurrent of something cold, even as she cracks a wry smile. “It’s not as if any of you could be at the front. This is what you brought me here for. Come on, let’s go.”
For the prompt "Main tank" in my Wondrous Tails bingo card.

Summary
Can you see it in my face? My cheeks are burning, and if I turned to the mirror that it would be there in my eyes, glowing or sparkling or whatever fine words poets use to describe such a look. I am suffering, standing quietly before you, desperate for any mote of affection that might move from you to me, something deeper than the fond respect and admiration you continue to show, that wore down my best-intended defenses.
Iolaine has a lot of feelings about the Exarch whether she likes it or not, and a lot of them bubble to the surface when he pays a visit to her chambers in the Pendants.
For the prompt "Heartache" for my Wondrous Tails bingo card.

Summary
“It is said that there are mystic powers in a dancer’s movements,” Iolaine says, opening her eyes again and looking at G’raha, “which can serve to heighten senses, lift spirits, and drive despair and worry from people’s hearts.” It sounds more like a recitation than she means it to, but he greets her smile with one of his own as he listens.
“Perhaps it is dancing which will save us all,” he replies.
For the prompt "Slow dancing" on my Wondrous Tails bingo card.

Summary
“Everything all right?” He asks, looking past Ojika at the door as if he could see whatever lay beyond that that has the administrator so worried.
“I don’t know. I hope so, but I’m not sure, so I thought it best to fetch you.” Ojika shifts his weight, eyes on the carpet at first before looking up at G’raha. “Iolaine’s been back for some time. She went into her room without a word and hasn’t come out again. She appeared to be… dishevelled when she arrived.”
Some post-Pandaemonium comfort written for the prompt "Patching up wounds" on my Wondrous Tails bingo card.
