Summary
Chloe runs away after she sees Lucifer with his Devil Face. She doesn't see the aftermath: not Lucifer passing out from his wounds, nor Pierce surviving and taking the Devil as his reward.
Meanwhile, Dan thinks that Lucifer has run off after confronting Pierce, just like Chloe did. Whilst raiding a one of the Sinnerman's bases, however, he comes across Lucifer, bleeding and broken, and realizes just how wrong he was.

"Can't we wait for the ambulance?" Dan tips his head.
Lucifer frowns, "We could, but you'd lose more blood, and the ambulance might take a while to arrive. It seems like an unnecessary gamble."
"I thought you loved gambles?" Dan replies.
