Summary
"Ayato. Let's go home," he whispers.
Ayato buries his face deeper into Thoma's collar. " 'm comfortable."
"We still have to clean all this up. The morning sentry might see us if we don't hurry."
"And?"
"Ayato…"
"Kiss me, and I may be amenable to getting up."
Thoma finds his lips, Ayato takes his hands through Thoma's hair. It's so sweet, he could forget there's a dead body fifteen places from them, stiff and white.
These scattered thoughts would gradually straighten themselves out in Ayato's mind, and at their center was his still-unchanged conviction—
He would use any means at his disposal to secure the safety of his family and its future. Obstacles to that goal would be cleared away, no matter the cost.

Summary
"Come here. Do you want me, Thoma?"
Thoma casts his eyes to the ground. It's only second nature to hide his face, his desire from his master. When he doesn't answer right away, Ayato wraps a finger around the chain at his neck and pulls him closer."Answer me."
Thoma whispers, afraid that his words will slip through the cracks of the doors and echo through the halls.
"I-I do..."
"Your voice falters."
"I do, my lord."

Summary
Sometimes Thoma would bring them small pot of tea and they'd doze off together under the same quilt. Other nights, Ayato would snuff the lantern in his room and curl himself next to Thoma‘s form in the dark, hoping for another kiss. He was never denied this silent request.
There was so little that was denied to the young lord. But Thoma would also say that there was very little he truly asked for.
And then sometimes when they were kissing — being so close to one another — Ayato would hook his leg over Thoma’s thigh, and press his groin against Thoma’s leg, and they would grind against each other. Drunken-eyed and grasping at each other, they’d swallow each other’s heavy breaths and moans.
Thoma very much felt that this was love – at least to him, at least to his young, tender heart – though he kept this thought to himself.
To possess something is to know that possession is fickle. To keep something is never a guarantee, oft fleeting in nature. And with half a birthright to this land, being half-bound to this world the Kamisato Estate encompassed – there were very few things Thoma would claim he possessed for himself.
