Reyes is a former army medic and used to be enrolled with the martian army. She dropped out of there due to a traumatic job that left her with severe PTSD. In the almost ten years since the incident, she has gotten a lot better and has been on the Rocinante for almost three years now. Her versatile knowledge and her training make her a valuable member of the crew and part of the family. They love her. Rey is sarcastic and uses every option to annoy the crew. She knows her value and thinks boundaries exist to be pushed. They hate her.

A/N: Okay quick disclaimer before we start - I haven’t watched the show in years and never read any of the books and also I didn’t do a whole lot of research.
