Summary
Crowley waited, and listened. The sound of harsh rain hitting him and the landscape around muffled ambient noises, but he could still hear something odd. Silence. There was no sound. Nothing to be heard.
Dungeons were never quiet. They were the adventurer equivalent of tourist traps. Granted, the weather was terrible, but there would still be some signs of life.
Which meant: either the place really was empty, and perhaps even used as a temporary camp by travelers, or something much worse awaited him inside.
