Summary
“What are you doing out here, Harrington?” Eddie growled with a sly edge. It sounded like a question, a challenge, and a warning all at once.
Steve prickled with nerves all over, terrified to think of his true meaning. He was scared because he knew he was talking to a monster…but something else kept sticking in his mind. Eddie really wasn’t acting like he wanted to bite him. If he was going to attack, it wouldn’t look like this. Half-lidded eyes and a cozy smirk, two fingers twisting in his hair…
Hawkins has a problem with monsters, and Steve Harrington has dedicated his life to stopping them at all costs. When he senses some supernatural energy at a house party, Eddie Munson quickly becomes his prime suspect. Steve confronts him, keeping his trusty wooden stake at the ready, but Eddie thinks he's there for a different reason.
Steve likes Eddie's idea better.

Summary
Eddie raised a hand to his mouth, gasping theatrically. “Harrington! You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” He wore a mad grin as he strolled down the hall.
Steve just grimaced. He was getting really fed up with Eddie’s audacity. “You’re no ghost, Munson,” He said, inching forwards. “You’re much worse.”
Eddie pouted, playing with his hair as he paced in one spot. “And here I thought you’d be happy to see me…” His face twisted into a dark smile. “After all the fun we had together.”
Steve scoffed. “You mean when I tried to kill you? Or when you tried to kill me?”
Monster hunter Steve Harrington has met his match with vampire Eddie Munson, and the only thing stronger than their rivalry is their attraction to each other. After discovering that Eddie is no regular monster, Steve is determined to uncover his secrets, while also struggling to hide the truth of his passionate encounter with Eddie from the rest of his monster hunting family. The more Steve learns about Eddie, the more he questions his own understanding of good and evil, and before long Steve and Eddie both must reckon with the dangers of love among monsters.
