Though the same could be said for him. He brushed his problems off in favor of someone else’s. He’d rather help someone with their trauma instead of his own.
They end their shift rambling on and on about some random topic. This is his biggest fear. The thing he’s most afraid of losing. But he didn’t have to worry about that now. No, for now, he could debate with Robin about what the better flavor of ice cream was.

“It’s ‘grey’, you dingus. It just looks better,” Robin says, ignoring Steve’s indignant look. Steve is leaning back on the counter, occasionally looking down at his watch. Business had been slow today, with barely any customers pouring through. Him and Robin were left to their own devices. Without anything better to do, they decided upon arguing.
“I just don’t get why you think that. It doesn’t look better; it just looks weird. It’s pronounced with the ‘ay’, why spell it differently?”
