This series is ordered in the sequence in which I wrote it, but if you're interested in the chronological order, it's as follows:

  1. the darkness shall be the light - vaguely 15-17 years pre-canon (Hamnet and Mareth are 18-20)
  2. heart, i implore you - about 13 years pre-canon (Hamnet and Mareth are about 22)
  3. the rivers will return to their beginnings - 10 years pre-canon, directly before the Garden of the Hesperides (Hamnet and Mareth are 25)
  4. nor are we forgiven - 10 years pre-canon, about a week after the Garden (still 25)
  5. those white walls of thunder - 9 years pre-canon (Hamnet's 26)
  6. and the famished deer are saved - 8-10 years post-canon (Mareth is 33-35, Hazard is 15-17)
