Summary
Seungmin, an Earth Kingdom noble, has spent his entire life being crushed by expectations and is quite frankly about to reach his breaking point. That is, until he stumbles in a little teahouse by accident and meets a very charming shopkeeper who makes him forget both the pressures weighing him down and how to breathe. Together, they create a warm little haven for themselves, even if it's not what fate intended for them.
Author’s note: while this fic does take place in the universe of Avatar the Last Airbender, you need not have watched the series to understand this fic as it is heavily focused on seungjin’s relationship. I will provide all necessary context in the notes (mainly a bit of background of the world and names of places don’t worry) so that anyone can read this if they’d like!

Summary
“What happened to you?” Jisung asked, large round eyes staring at him in curiosity.
“I was attacked.”
“We can see that.” Changbin snorted and Minho bit back a snarky remark about how oversharing with strangers wasn’t a very good survival instinct to have.
“Why?”
“Jisung, let’s not push for more than Minho is willing to tell us–”
“It’s fine,” Minho cut Chan off. “You guys don’t happen to be associated with any authorities right?”
Jisung laughed loudly as Changbin coughed.
“Farthest thing from it.” Chan replied, shooting him an amused smile.
“Great.” Minho grinned in response. “So I’m on the run.”
“What a coincidence,” Chan cast a glance back at his two companions.
Minho grinned. No further words were needed.
