“Munsons, not Harringtons.” The corners of Steve’s eyes crinkled with the little smile on his lips, and Eddie thought his heart just might give out.

“Our pups, hmm?” Eddie took Steve by the chin, pulling his face forward so he could plant a kiss against the tip of his nose. “Feeling domestic today, momma?”
Judging by the way Steve’s breath hitched, Eddie hit the nail on the head.
“Love it when you get like this.” Eddie leaned forward to nuzzle into his neck again. “You’re so easy to rile up.”
“Of course I’m feeling domestic, dumbass.” Steve tilted his head to the side, giving Eddie full access to his neck. “We’re having a baby.”
It was Eddie’s turn to freeze, his sleepy, affectionate mood suddenly turning to panic as Steve’s words hit him. “Uh… what?”

“Hey, baby.” Eddie cooed, giggling when he felt the movement under his hand. “You know, the doc said you’re the size of an avocado now.” Another kick, harsher than before, judging from the way Steve winced. “Oh, do you like that?”
“We are not calling our baby Avocado.”
“Your daddy is no fun.” Eddie whispered conspiringly, shooting Steve a playful glare. "No fun at all."
