Summary
Several years after the defeat of Cozy Glow, Queen Chrysalis, and Tirek the mane 6 have gone their own separate ways. Twilight Sparkle, who has taken Princess Celestia's mantle as ruler of Equestria, finds her job completely overwhelming. It's been a year since the last time she saw all of her best friends. While her title makes her the most popular pony in the land, she's forced to contend with feelings of loneliness that come from such a position. Fluttershy returns to a lifestyle of introversion, but finds she can't truly live alone as long as she feels the regrets from feelings unrequited and things left unsaid. Strange dreams, sleepless nights, a midnight encounter, and a love confessed start off a chain of events that just might bring the six friends back together.
