Summary
“Something seems… Different,” Frank said, his gravelly voice far more coy than it had any right to be. He grabbed Jake’s arm and pulled it closer, earning an offended hiss from the survivor. Frank pushed Jake’s sleeve up, revealing the branded mark that had haunted him the entire trial.
Frank’s mask looked back up at him, and Jake could swear it was closer than it had been a moment ago. “Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
“What about it,” he muttered, tugging against the killer’s iron grip.
Frank shifted his weight, turning his grip on Jake’s wrist to pull him closer as his other hand gripped his jaw. Jake froze, his heart pounding in his chest as he stared at the blank, unreadable expression of Frank’s mask.
“I’m gonna have some fun with you before I kill you."

Summary
“Oh, that one’s a keeper.”
As Jake looked between the camera and the killer’s mask, everything suddenly clicked into place. “You… You were watching me.”
“For a while now, too,” Ghostface said, his tone acerbic and mocking. “You’re really not very observant, you know. That could get you killed.”

Summary
“It’s not an accident,” Laurie said, her eyes still locked on their surroundings. “It’s not by chance, it’s not a curse. Not that I can tell anyway. It’s just something about me, and if you’re somehow overpowering that—“ She looked back at him and paused, her words dying on her lips. “What’s wrong?”
Jake clenched his jaw, a wave of pain extending outwards from the mark. “I don’t…” He gasped, desperate for air as the pain seized his diaphragm.
Something drew his gaze up. Far behind Laurie, partially hidden by a pile of hay bales, was a looming figure with an expressionless white mask.
Laurie followed his gaze and froze, the color draining from her face. “Oh.”

Hello, Jake. I want to play a game.
You were born into a life of luxury: A happy, healthy family, money you could never spend in three lifetimes, and all the opportunities most would deem impossible to achieve. But you threw it away, leaving nothing but pain and grief for your family.
Jake looked up at the loudspeaker, anxiety settling like ice in his stomach. He’d never talked about his life before the Fog.
You pride yourself on the amount of pain you can manage. You deny your enemies your cries of pain, just as you denied your family their eldest son.
You are known as the Survivalist. Prove you have what it takes to survive. Free yourself of your burdens, deny your enemies your screams. Prove you deserve the life you have chosen for yourself.
