Summary
Canon rewrite, in the form of some signficant flashbacks between present-day dialogues/scenes.
Even though things aren't as tense between them as they used to be, Kaeya can't forget what Diluc said to him in the downpour so many years ago, after Crepus' death, after everything fell apart. Diluc can't forget that day, either. While they both reflect on their memories and the rainstorms of the past beat down on their shoulders, they remember that it can't rain forever.Series

Canon rewrite, in the form of chronological flashbacks. Sort of a sequel to It Can't Rain Forever, but with lore from the Hidden Strife event and the Golden Apple Archipelago last year, too. And he Irodori festival I guess. Anyways. Updated thoughts on canon rewrite.
