Summary
A young adult man named Eiden has moved back to his home city after having lived away for a few years, trying to avoid an unpleasant past that haunts his memories with the image of an old friend's smile and animatronics that no longer bring him joy the way they used too. Then he finds out that it has made a resurgence, a company he once started with a now long gone old friend having somehow made a return. He can't help but think something is wrong, so he decides to get a job as a nighttime security guard in the facility to figure out what.
But it's just a giant fancy mall, what's the worst that could happen, right?
