  Summary

  Max and Marcy are new to Hawkins, with a dark, traumatizing past they refuse to share with anybody who asks.
  With their family, the two sisters moved to the small town. They didn’t think it was anything at first, just another change, another dip in the long, long road ahead of them.
  But this town isn’t all that meets the eye.

  Marcy befriends Steve Harrington and his friends, while Max seeks out friendship with a group of boys who want to be her friends, but their leader, Mike, seems to have a distaste for her.
  What will happen to them in this strange town? Time will tell.
