Her own voice is barely above a whisper, but in the deathly quiet of their bedroom, it sounds unnaturally loud. The words echo back, bouncing off the walls and she jumps slightly even though Regina has not moved any closer to her.

It doesn’t happen often. Emma is far too confident and sure of herself to blush due to feeling out of place. But pay her a compliment she doesn’t think she deserves, and her skin lights up with the sweetest tinge of pink that makes Regina tingle with pleasure.
That is her goal tonight.
To turn her girlfriend into a blushing, squirming mess on their bed before finally giving in to the impulse to smother her with so much love that Emma forgets every bad thing that has ever happened to her.

Emma watches the feather fearfully. The petulant side of her, the side that often lands her on the wrong side of Regina’s ever increasing Ler tendencies, whines in protest. It just wasn’t fair!
The spot in question is one of her favorite places to be touched. Granted, no one had ever taken a feather to it before, or even touched it lightly enough to clue her in that it might be sensitive in a way she hadn’t expected. But Regina knows now and there is no way she is going to pass up the chance to explore it.
