Summary
Thorin and Bilbo had been lovers. What had begun on the quest had grown seriously twisted under the onset of goldsickness and then had completely fallen apart. Now that the battle is won and Thorin on Erebor's throne, sane and healthy, he is forced to remember when a young, ambitious member of his guard drags a tied up hobbit before him, declaring the traitor found.
Thorin must face the past and Bilbo in order to make amends. And finds out that some things are not as he expected.
