Summary
The pit that’s been growing in Sakumo’s stomach grows teeth and claws and tears at his insides, making a bloody mess out of him. He can’t breathe and he can’t scream, can’t say anything but Kakashi’s name even long after his voice cracks and turns hoarse.
His son is missing and Sakumo can’t stop until he finds him.
The night falls and people disperse, returning to their homes and their families.
Three days later, the search is officially called off for good.
Sakumo keeps looking.
