Summary
Ghouls are monsters. And Takemichi accepted that he is one of those monsters.
High school dropout and failure-at-life Takemichi finally got the girl of his dreams but something dark and impulsive inside of him has the craving for her flesh. After ripping her apart, Takemichi realizes that he isn't exactly as human as he thought he was. Locking himself up from the world and many attempts of extinguishing his own life in hopes of stopping the monster inside, Takemichi doesn't realize the mess of corpses he left behind was on a rather large gang of ghouls' territory. And the leader wants him, dead or alive.
After being attacked by members of the most dangerous gang, Valhalla, Takemichi is rescued by a ghoul who is part of a small group called "The Strays" lead by a hot-headed leader and his dangerous right hand. But it's much safer to be with them than being left alone in the dangerous world of ghouls.
This is a series following Takemichi's journey as he learns about his ghoul half. Will he eventually become the monster he fears, or will his human side overcome his impulsive instincts?
