It’s a few bells after Lucelle returned to them – truly returned, as herself and not as a sick joke perpetuated by a monster. The Scions are scattered among the Ilsabard Contingent, resting and checking over supplies one last time before they push into the capitol proper. Alisaie was watching G’raha drill alongside a paladin from the Ul’dah detachment and waves them both off when they turn towards the source of the cry. This isn’t a job for anyone but her.

Summary
Lho'a looks surprised to see Alisaie come into the room, which is altogether backwards, because it’s hers. Their mother may have welcomed them back to Sharlayan with open arms, but as Alphi said, it would be wise to secure alternate accommodations. Alisaie agreed, even if the phrasing her sister used irked her, and now they both avail themselves of the Annex’s plentiful empty beds. Which brings her back to the viera sitting on hers, looking shaken and annoyed by turn, dressed only in a set of revealing robes he’d chosen to survive Thavnair’s ever present humidity.
Carbuncle sits in Lho’a’s lap, the summon looking perfectly at home with his hands running over its back. A nervous tic, he’d once said, the construct’s aether soothing him when nothing else would.
