When Doppo Kunikida was 6, he was taken to be screened for autism. It never was a big deal, and his parents already knew the answer, but having it down on paper in his medical records will make his life a hell of a lot easier. He can get accommodations if needed, self understanding, and just a way of knowing it’s not in his head.

Summary
Kunikida leaned back in his chair, hands digging into his eyes roughly. With a somewhat shaky sigh he let himself sit still.
Overwhelmed at the amount of work he was suddenly handed. He had no warning. Sure it wouldn’t change his schedule, all he had to do today at work was paperwork. He wasn’t going to be going on a mission for at least another 3 days. Unless he was absolutely needed of course.
It still never felt nice to have to sit in the same spot for hours on end. Understimulated yet having no way to fix it. He felt like Dazai, he kept staring at his work, mind drifting away to a different world.
Or, Kunikida is struggling, and even if he hasn't told anyone he is autistic, Ranpo easily figured it out. Ranpo does little things to help the elder man.
