I never imagined myself to be a family man, and if I had told myself twenty-odd years ago that I would have a husband and child, I would have called myself insane and a liar. I’ve tried my best to change over the years, and I think I’ve done a damn-good job of it so far: No frivolous sex, no blackout drinking, no substance abuse (Yes, that truly happened in my youth). And maybe… just maybe, I could change one more thing for the better.
