Summary
Crouched and stooped as he is, Hob is blind to much of their surroundings. He is aware of things shifting in the throne room. The sun must be emerging from behind a cloud because it’s brighter than it had been before. Not that his eyes can do much with the light, as he’s mostly looking at the goddess’ soft lower belly and the healthy thatching of dark hair growing beneath. His heart is in his throat and he’s eager to get to his duty proper, but Hob will get there in good time.
