  Basically just a retelling of Re-Animator with a female reader as the third roommate who inevitably falls in love with Herbert West. The Reader, Herbert and Dan attempt to cheat death via Herbert's reagent with disastrous results, chaos ensues and the body count rises. Of course, further complications arise as Herbert and the Reader's relationship progresses from friends to something more.

  This story uses female-specific pronouns as well as cis-female descriptions of body parts during the sex scenes. If anyone wishes to rewrite those elements of the story in order to fit with their own body and gender identity, that's totally fine with me as long as you give me a heads up and credit me in the resulting work.
